time for more random photos...

um, possibly the most darling princess i've ever seen?!
the first egg!!! how VERY egg-citing! :p
an absolutely scrumptious, VERY filling raw meal - ceasar salad with a 'burger' from ani phyo's book. the burger, which i made the patties and then dehydrated for a couple hours to warm them, between black sesame seed "bread", with veggies - sprouts, lettuce, tomato, and some salsa... my kids *love* the ceasar salad recipe.
a foraged bowl of berries from our yard in late spring/early summer - wild salmonberries (the orange/yellow ones, wild blackberries (small, but ohhhhhh sooooooo sweet), wild huckleberries (the small smooth red ones that look like mini-blueberries), raspberries from the garden, a single strawberry (lol), and those red berries... not sure of their name - almost like a cross between a salmonberry and a raspberry. i just call them 'red salmonberries' though i'm not sure that's their proper name. ;)
raw pizzas. sooooooo good. dehydrated crusts with, i think, ranch dressing, guacamole and salsa for toppings. mmmmmmm Raw zucchini "spaghetti", tossed in marinara sauce and walnut pate "meatballs", topped with "parmesan cheeze" (1c brazil nuts ground with 1 or 2 garlic cloves in the fp)... one of the easiest meals EVER to prepare. very filling, too.Greek salad, raw style: on top of a bed of greens, some tomato, cucumber, bell peppers, sweet onion in balsamic vinegar & EVOO with an avocado, a few walnut pieces and some fresh basil atop, and a couple sliced raw olives. deeeeeeeeeelicious. many thanks to Sheri over at http://www.veganfamilyinc.com/ for the recipe.
dd *loves* her plate of goodies & org w/w pasta salad, but especially those goodies - fresh org pea pods from our local farm, fresh blueberries, red pepper, carrots, dried apricots, cranberries and white mulberries. mmmmm good.
Yours truly:
